The North East Burnaby Community Organic Garden (inhale) or NebCog, has been growing fruits, vegetables and flowers (and weeds and blackberries and...) for twelve years. It is located
View Larger Mapbeside Stoney Creek Elementary School, near the northern end of Beaverbrook Crescent (not drive!) over top the pipe accessway for Kinder Morgan, Canada.
The garden has been organically run for the full span of it's existence, using compost, green manures, and natural additives to keep the soil and the plants healthy and able to better resist pests. Over 80 plots are available to rent out each year; some have stayed with the same family for over ten years!
